Lionel Ruffel

Literature and publishing

Lionel Ruffel teaches comparative literature and creative writing at Paris-VIII University.

Author of four books, Le Dénouement (2005); Volodine post-exotique (2007); Brouhaha, Les mondes du contemporain (2016 french, 2018, english), Trompe-la-mort (2019), he is also editor of the journal chaoïd, firstly, and of the same name collection at Verdier publishing house.

Among his latest literary curation projects, we can cite “Theory Now” at La Colonie in Paris, “The Publishing Sphere” at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), and “Radio Brouhaha”.
